Emily Rankin was born in Riverside, California and attended university in Texas, where she received a BFA in 2011. Her body of work deals with the intuitive messages of dreaming and subconscious exploration. Her work has appeared in Strata Gallery, Sun and Dust Gallery on Canyon Road, in the Queer Magnetism group show at SF Community Gallery, and in Medium Small and Link and Pin Gallery. She’s had work in various publications, including Gasher, Wild Roof Journal, Raw Art Review, Meat for Tea, Black Fox, Hey I’m Alive Magazine, and Rattle. She’s currently based in New Mexico.
